"We moved into this new building last year. We had outgrown our space in Oakport, just north of Moorhead, plus we were renting space in Fargo. We just needed more room. We looked around, but the price of property in Fargo was incredible. With the price of the property in Moorhead, building here was my best option — and the incentives available certainly helped. Being located close to the interstate is nice for us.

Municipal Industrial Contracting completed its new location at 3030 24th Avenue South, Moorhead in 2001. The 20,000 square-foot concrete structure offers 3,500 square feet of rental space on the second level, in addition to serving as the new home for the contracting company Mic founded in 1988. With 25 employees during the peak of construction season, the company completes general contracting, industrial and residential concrete and underground utilities throughout the region.
